February 2025

February with FORGOTTEN LANDS was in full motion —connecting through art, conversation, music, books, and good vibes. We started the month in Miami, tabling at Tropic Bound book fair and collaborating with Dale Zine, Masisi Radio, and Pa’lante Rum, celebrating Caribbean creativity and resilience, with DJ sets by Juancy + Pressure Point. Followed by raising a toast in NYC to Black History Month with Ten to One and dancing to inspiring sets by Nikki Anticss, Tiff McFierce, and UBABU.

Finally, our month culminated with the Jersey Art Book Fair, presented by Dense Magazine and hosted by Monira Foundation and Mana Contemporary. We showcased our books and screened Indigenous Origins alongside 200+ exhibitors—including publishing houses, artists, designers, collectives, galleries, and university programs. It was inspiring to engage with visitors on the depth and impact of Caribbean voices, celebrating art bookmaking in all its forms.
